Do I have to have a Smart Card to subscribe to USIC?

No, but to ensure that you receive notification of all events, it is best to add your Smart Card ID to your record as soon as you can. You can do this by clicking on the "My Info" button on the Home page and entering your User Name and Password to access your record.

Why can’t I validate my Smart Card number?

Your three-letter, three-digit Smart Card number (SCID) should be entered with no spaces, like this: AAA123. Don’t enter the country code that precedes your SCID.

In order to validate your SCID, you must enter your name exactly as it appears on your Smart Card.

What if I only want to hear about national events, not local ones?

Checkmark the community information options box at the bottom of the sign-up page. It will take you to a screen where you can uncheck your local community checkbox.

What if I want to find out about events in a community other than the one I live in?

Checkmark the community information options box at the bottom of the sign-up page. It will take you to a screen where you can indicate all the communities from which you would like to receive information.

Can I change my User Name or Password?

Yes, you can change them at any time.

What if I forget my Password?

To reset your password, click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the "My Info" login page. An email message with a link to access your record and change your password will be sent to the email address in your record.

If I enter or change my contact information here, will my information be used by others (e.g., Elan Vital, Visions, Smart Card, my local area list)?

Updating your contact information at US Info Connect will also update it with Elan Vital, Visions, Smart Card and your local mailing list. USIC does not interface with Peaceflix or TPRF data; you will need to update these accounts separately.

The personal information you provide will only be used for the purpose of this site, which is to inform you about Maharaji, events and activities. You can read the Privacy Policy for this site by clicking on “Privacy Policy” on the yellow note on the Home page.

Will anyone else be able to change my contact information?

Your community contact will have access to your record, as will Elan Vital/Visions. We encourage you to change your contact information when necessary. However, you can contact your local community contact and/or Elan Vital to change it for you if you cannot for any reason change your own contact information.

Will I know if my community contact has updated my contact information?

You can check that your contact information is up to date at any time by clicking on “My Info” and entering your User Name and Password.

I don't think that I am getting email messages from USIC.

Please enter mail@usinfoconnect.net into your email address book to ensure that messages will not be re-routed to a spam or junk folder. Or, set your personal email filter to accept email from this address. If you have requested email from your local community or other communities, you will need to follow the same procedure for each.

Click on “My Info” to be sure that your email address is current.

How do I unsubscribe to USIC?

Click on the “Remove me” stamp. You will be prompted to enter your User Name and Password in order to access your record.

I accidentally removed my record. What should I do?

Please inform the US Info Connect Team at info@usinfoconnect.net immediately.
